- 3/4 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 large egg
- 28 Oreo cookies
- 6 oz dark chocolate
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 350F (180C) and prepare a greased 9×13 inch baking pan lined with parchment paper.
- 2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until fluffy. Add one egg and mix well.
- 3. Gradually stir in the flour and salt before folding in chocolate chips. Spread this mixture on the bottom of the prepared pan.
- 4. Layer with Oreo cookies evenly on top of the cookie base.
- 5. In another bowl, melt together cubed butter and chopped dark chocolate until smooth. Stir in granulated sugar, then add eggs one at a time.
- 6. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt; mix until just combined. Pour this brownie mixture over the Oreos.
- 7. Bake for about 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
