  • 2 teaspoons liquid smoke (adjust to taste for additional smoky flavor)
  • 2 teaspoons salt (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine all ingredients and stir until well mixed.
  2. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring frequently.
  3. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 30-35 minutes until thickened.
  4. Sterilize canning jars and lids by boiling them in water for at least 10 minutes.
  5. Using a canning funnel, ladle hot sauce into jars, leaving ½ inch of headspace.
  6. Wipe rims clean and seal jars with lids.
  7. Process in a water bath canner for 20 minutes.
  8. Allow jars to cool completely before storing in a cool, dark place.
