- 8 oz jumbo shells
- 15 oz whole milk ricotta cheese
- 8 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 1 egg
- Fresh herbs (parsley, basil)
- Garlic (powder and pressed)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
- Cook the jumbo shells in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, parsley, basil, garlic powder, pressed garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Stuff each shell with the cheese mixture.
- Spread half of the marinara sauce at the bottom of the baking dish. Arrange stuffed shells on top and pour remaining sauce over them.
- Top with additional mozzarella and oregano.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden.
