  • 2 boneless ribeye or sirloin steaks (6 oz each)
  • 12 oz pasta (spaghetti, fettuccine, penne)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup beef broth (optional)
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh basil or parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water in a large pot. Cook pasta until al dente (8–10 minutes), then drain and reserve ½ cup of the water.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season steaks with salt and pepper; sear for 4–5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Let rest before slicing.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and melt butter; sauté garlic until fragrant. Add beef broth if desired, then stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until thickened.
  4. Combine cooked pasta with sauce; add reserved water as needed for consistency. Stir in sliced steak just before serving.
  5. Garnish with fresh herbs and extra Parmesan before serving.
