Ingredients
- 1 lb raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a food processor, pulse the raw shrimp until coarsely chopped. Transfer to a mixing bowl.
- Add panko breadcrumbs, beaten egg, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil to the bowl. Mix until well combined.
- Wet your hands slightly and shape the mixture into small balls (about 2 tablespoons each). If desired, roll in cornstarch for better binding.
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat (about 2 inches deep). Fry shrimp balls until golden brown on all sides (5–7 minutes). Drain on paper towels before serving.
