  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons chai spice blend
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 46 tablespoons heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Brown the butter in a medium skillet over medium-high heat until dark amber, then transfer to a stand mixer.
  2. Mix in sugars, eggs, and vanilla until combined.
  3. Combine flour, oats, chai spice blend, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl; mix into wet ingredients.
  4. Chill the dough for 10 minutes; preheat the oven to 350°F.
  5. Form dough into balls on lined baking sheets and flatten slightly.
  6. Bake for 12–14 minutes until edges are golden; cool completely.
  7. Whisk together glaze ingredients until smooth and ice the cookies.
