  5. Incorporate tomato paste, bay leaves, and Old Bay seasoning; simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Stir in heavy cream; let simmer until slightly thickened (about 5 minutes).
  7. Add shrimp; cook until pink (3–4 minutes). Gently fold in crab meat and sherry; heat through.
  8. Remove bay leaves, adjust seasoning with salt and white pepper to taste, then serve hot garnished with fresh herbs.
