Ingredients

  • 16 ounces rotini pasta
  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes, cut in half
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, cut into small cubes
  • ¾ cup pepperoni, cut into fourths
  • ½ cup black olives, chopped
  • 16 ounces Italian dressing
  • 34 drops each red & blue liquid food coloring
  • 2 tablespoons water, divided
  • 1 tablespoon olive or vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Cook rotini pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse.
  2. Divide the pasta into three portions. Color one portion red and another blue using food coloring mixed with water in Ziploc bags. Keep the third portion plain.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine all colored pasta, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, black olives, and Italian dressing.
  4. Mix well and chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour before serving.
