- For the frosting:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 2 & 1/2 cups powdered sugar

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 & 1/2 tablespoons whole milk

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F and prepare a 9×13 baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and sea salt. Set aside.
- Cream softened butter and sugar in a stand mixer until fluffy. Blend in eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla.
- Gradually mix in the flour mixture until combined, then fold in patriotic sprinkles.
- Press the dough into the pan and bake for 25–28 minutes until golden brown. Cool completely on a wire rack.
- For frosting, whip softened butter until smooth, then gradually incorporate powdered sugar, salt, vanilla, and milk until fluffy.
- Frost cooled cookie bars generously and add more sprinkles before slicing into squares.
