  • 1 (15-ounce can) Diced Tomatoes (don't drain)
  • 1 (15-ounce can) Tomato Sauce
  • 1/3 cup Tomato Paste
  • 4 cups Chicken Broth
  • 12 cups Water
  • 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt
  • Black Pepper (to taste)
  • 8 ounces Bowtie Pasta (uncooked)
  • 1/2 cup Ricotta Cheese
  • 2 ounces Mozzarella Cheese (shredded)
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese (shaved, shredded, or fresh grated)
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté diced onion and minced garlic until softened, then add ground beef and cook until browned.
  2. Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and tomato paste until thoroughly combined.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and adjust with water for desired consistency. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; bring to a boil.
  4. Add bowtie pasta directly into the pot and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in ricotta cheese; top with shredded mozzarella cheese until slightly melted.
  6. Serve hot with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley on top.
