Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, crushed red pepper flakes, and ground ginger until combined.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned (about 3-5 minutes), crumbling as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in the sauce mixture and sliced green onions; let simmer for 2 minutes until heated through.
