  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup dark corn syrup
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups chopped pecans
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a 13×9-inch baking pan with aluminum foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, confectioners' sugar, and salt. Cut in softened butter until the mixture resembles sandy crumbs. Press into the bottom of the prepared pan and bake for 15-18 minutes until lightly browned.
  3. In another bowl, mix brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, eggs, pecans, and chocolate chips until combined. Pour over the baked crust.
  4. Bake for an additional 25-30 minutes until set. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
