Ingredients
- 2 racks pork spareribs
- 1 bottle Kansas City-style barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp paprika
- 1 Tbsp seasoned salt
- 1 Tbsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp dry mustard powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C) and spray grill pan or baking sheet with cooking spray.
- In a small bowl, mix all dry rub ingredients until combined.
- Pat ribs dry with paper towels, trim excess fat, then season generously with half the dry rub on both sides.
- Bake seasoned ribs in the preheated oven for about 2½ hours, checking after 2 hours and rotating if necessary.
- Once tender, remove ribs from oven and brush on barbecue sauce. Bake uncovered for an additional 20 minutes until caramelized.
