  • 2 racks pork spareribs
  • 1 bottle Kansas City-style barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp paprika
  • 1 Tbsp seasoned salt
  • 1 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C) and spray grill pan or baking sheet with cooking spray.
  2. In a small bowl, mix all dry rub ingredients until combined.
  3. Pat ribs dry with paper towels, trim excess fat, then season generously with half the dry rub on both sides.
  4. Bake seasoned ribs in the preheated oven for about 2½ hours, checking after 2 hours and rotating if necessary.
  5. Once tender, remove ribs from oven and brush on barbecue sauce. Bake uncovered for an additional 20 minutes until caramelized.
  6. Slice between bones to serve and enjoy!
