  • 12 soft white rolls
  • 350g ham (sliced)
  • 250g Swiss cheese (or other melting cheese)
  • 100g unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1/3 cup American mustard
  • 1/4 onion (finely chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C / 350°F. Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, chopped onion, additional mustard, poppyseeds, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
  3. Cut the rolls in half horizontally and spread mustard on both halves. Place the bottom half in the baking pan.
  4. Layer with ham and cheese before placing the top half back on.
  5. Bake uncovered for 10 minutes until the cheese melts.
  6. Pour the butter mixture over the sliders evenly and cover with foil; bake for an additional 20 minutes.
  7. Remove foil and bake uncovered for another 10 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before slicing into individual sliders and serve hot.
