- 1 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup hot cocoa mix (not sugar-free)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup Mallow Bits
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a stand mixer, cream together softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract; mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, hot cocoa mix, salt, baking soda, and baking powder. Gradually add this dry mixture to the butter mixture until well blended.
- Fold in chocolate chips and Mallow Bits until evenly distributed in the dough. Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes.
- Drop heaping tablespoons of dough onto lined baking sheets about 2 inches apart and bake for 9 to 11 minutes until edges are lightly browned.
- Let cool on the sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring them to wire racks.
