  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup hot cocoa mix (not sugar-free)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Mallow Bits

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a stand mixer, cream together softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract; mix well.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, hot cocoa mix, salt, baking soda, and baking powder. Gradually add this dry mixture to the butter mixture until well blended.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips and Mallow Bits until evenly distributed in the dough. Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Drop heaping tablespoons of dough onto lined baking sheets about 2 inches apart and bake for 9 to 11 minutes until edges are lightly browned.
  6. Let cool on the sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring them to wire racks.
