  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz smoked sausage, sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and lemon juice. Set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced sausage and cook until browned (about 5 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, add shrimp seasoned with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink. Remove from skillet.
  4. Add broccoli florets with a splash of water to the skillet. Cover and steam for about 3-4 minutes until tender.
  5. Return sausage and shrimp to the skillet with broccoli. Pour in the honey garlic sauce and stir well to combine; cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Serve hot over rice or quinoa and garnish with fresh parsley.
