  • 1/4 cup melted shortening

Instructions

  3. Slowly add wet ingredients to dry ingredients using a stand mixer on low speed until combined.
  4. Increase speed to medium and knead for about 8 minutes until the dough is slightly sticky.
  5. Place in an oiled bowl and cover; let rise in a warm area for 1 to 2 hours until doubled.
  6. Roll out dough into an 8” x 12” rectangle and sprinkle with a cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  7. Roll tightly, cut into pieces, and place on parchment-lined sheets. Let them rise again before baking or frying.
