Description

  • 12 oz package of King’s Hawaiian rolls (12 rolls)
  • 16 oz thinly sliced deli ham
  • 78 oz sliced Swiss cheese
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoon mayonnaise (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Kosher salt
  • fresh cracked pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Grease a baking dish (9×9 or 9×13) with cooking spray or butter.
  3. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally.
  4. Toast the bottom buns in the prepared dish for about 3-5 minutes until slightly golden.
  5. Spread mayonnaise on the bottom buns (optional).
  6. Layer ham and Swiss cheese on the toasted bottom buns; place the top buns back on.
  7. In a microwave-safe cup, melt butter and mix in poppy seeds, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  8. Pour the butter mixture evenly over the assembled sliders.
  9. Bake for 10 minutes uncovered; cover with foil and bake an additional 10 minutes.
  10. Allow to cool slightly before slicing into individual sliders.
