  • 40 g butter

  • 50 g fine semolina
  • 450 g steak
  • 25 g butter
  • 20 ml olive oil
  • 5 g salt
  • 3 g cayenne powder
  • 3 g red bell pepper powder
  • 3 g onion powder
  • 2 g garlic powder
  • 1 g dried parsley
  • 80 g red onion (sliced)
  • 75 g red bell pepper (sliced)
  • grated cheese (to taste)
  • cheddar cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine lukewarm milk, yeast, and honey. Mix well.
  2. Add flour, beaten egg, butter, and salt; mix until dough forms.
  3. Knead for 10-12 minutes until smooth.
  4. Cover and let rise in a warm area for about one hour or until doubled.
  5. Shape risen dough into 16 equal pieces; flatten slightly and stack two pieces together.
  6. Coat with semolina and allow to rise again for 30 minutes.
  7. Cook in a preheated skillet over medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
  8. Prepare filling by cooking diced steak with spices, then add sliced veggies and cheese to melt.
  9. Assemble the rolls with filling before serving warm.
