  • 2 Lemons (quartered)
  • 2 Red Onions (sliced)
  • 1 White Onion (sliced)
  • 2 Jalapenos (sliced)
  • 7 oz Ginger Root (peeled and sliced)
  • 2 oz Turmeric Root (peeled and sliced)
  • 7 oz Horseradish Root (peeled and sliced)
  • 10 cloves Garlic (crushed)
  • Fresh Rosemary
  • Ceylon Cinnamon Sticks
  • Star Anise
  • Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Raw Honey

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients and wash thoroughly.
  2. In a large glass jar, combine quartered oranges and lemons with sliced onions, jalapenos, ginger, turmeric, horseradish, garlic, rosemary, cinnamon sticks, and star anise.
  3. Pour apple cider vinegar over the mixture until fully submerged.
  4. Add raw honey to taste; stir gently to combine.
  5. Seal the jar tightly and store in a cool dark place for 4–6 weeks, shaking every few days.
  6. After steeping, strain out solids using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth and refrigerate your tonic.
