  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9×5 metal loaf pan.
  2. Mash the overripe bananas in a small bowl and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar using a hand mixer until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs, mashed bananas, and vanilla extract; mix until combined.
  5. Sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt into the wet mixture. Gently fold until just incorporated, then fold in 3/4 cup of chocolate chips.
