  • 3 cups cooked and shredded chicken
  • 8 oz evaporated milk
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 40 oz chicken broth
  • 1 can buttermilk biscuits
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. In a large heavy-bottomed pot, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add diced onion, sliced celery, matchstick carrots, and minced garlic; sauté for about 6 to 8 minutes until tender.
  2. Stir in shredded chicken, chicken broth, evaporated milk, and cream of chicken soup. Bring to a simmer and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Cut each biscuit into quarters and toss in flour before adding them to the pot. Gently press them into the broth.
  4. Cover the pot and cook the dumplings for approximately 8 to 10 minutes until they are cooked through.
