  • 3/4 cup sour cream, room temperature
  • 1 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 3 large eggs, room temperature
  • 2 large apples, chopped
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
  • sprinkle of lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream, cold
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and cinnamon. Add melted butter; press into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. Beat cream cheese until smooth; gradually add sugar and flour. Mix in sour cream, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and eggs until combined.
  4. Fold in chopped apples and pour over the crust.
  5. Bake for approximately 50 minutes until set but slightly jiggly in the center. Cool at room temperature before refrigerating for at least four hours.
  6. For whipped cream topping: Beat cold heavy whipping cream with powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until stiff peaks form. Serve chilled cheesecake bars drizzled with caramel sauce and topped with whipped cream.
