  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 (8 oz) cans Pillsbury crescent dinner rolls
  • 1/2 cup sugar (for topping)
  • 2 Tbsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together 1/2 cup sugar and 2 Tbsp cinnamon; set aside.
  3. Beat softened cream cheese until smooth, then mix in 1/2 cup sugar, egg, and vanilla until creamy.
  4. Spray a 9×13 inch baking pan with non-stick cooking spray and sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture on the bottom.
  5. Unroll one can of crescent dough onto wax paper and press seams together. Place in the pan over the cinnamon layer.
  6. Spread cream cheese filling evenly over the dough base.
  7. Repeat with the second can of dough, placing it over the cream cheese filling. Sprinkle remaining cinnamon sugar mixture on top.
  8. Bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool before slicing into bars.
