- 2 pounds fresh strawberries
- 12 ounces high-quality chocolate (dark, semi-sweet, milk, or white)
Instructions
- Prepare your workspace by lining a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Wash and thoroughly dry the strawberries; let them sit at room temperature for 1–2 hours.
- Melt 8 ounces of chopped chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-30 second increments until smooth (do not exceed 115°F).
- Temper the chocolate by stirring in the remaining chopped chocolate until fully melted and cooled to the proper dipping temperature (89-90°F for dark/semi-sweet; 87°F for milk/white).
- Dip each strawberry by holding it by the stem and swirling it into the melted chocolate. Allow excess to drip off and place on the lined baking sheet.
- Optional: Drizzle leftover melted chocolate over dipped strawberries for decoration.
- Let them set at room temperature for about 15–20 minutes before serving.
