- 12 oz gluten free farfalle pasta
- 4 tbsp butter
- 2 tsp dry shallots
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp Gluten Free 1:1 Flour
- 3 cups heavy cream
- 12 oz shredded parmesan
- 1/4 cup pasta water
- Additional salt to taste
- Additional garlic powder to taste
Instructions
- Boil water in a large pot and cook the gluten-free farfalle pasta until al dente.
- In a mixing bowl, combine paprika, oregano, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Coat the chicken breasts evenly with the seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken for about five minutes on each side until golden brown; cover and cook until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Melt butter in the same skillet, then add dry shallots, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Stir for one minute.
- Whisk in gluten-free flour before gradually adding chicken broth and heavy cream; stir until smooth.
- Mix in shredded Parmesan cheese until melted, adjusting thickness with reserved pasta water as needed.
- Toss the cooked pasta with the sauce, slice the chicken into strips, and mix back into the skillet before serving hot.
