  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced
  • 2 cups cabbage, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (optional)

Instructions

  1. Marinate diced chicken with soy sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper for 10–15 minutes.
  2. Mix remaining sauce ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
  3. In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter and stir-fry marinated chicken until fully cooked (4–5 mins). Remove from skillet.
  4. Sauté onion and garlic in the same skillet until fragrant (about 2 mins).
  5. Add cabbage, bell pepper, and carrot; stir-fry until tender yet crisp (5–6 mins).
  6. Return chicken to the skillet and pour in the prepared sauce; cook for another 2–3 mins until thickened slightly.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
