- 12 oz can evaporated milk
- 32 oz chicken stock
- 4 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 2 cups all-purpose flour (for dumplings)
- Whole milk
Instructions

- If using raw chicken, add it now along with an extra cup of broth and simmer for 20 minutes before shredding. For pre-cooked chicken, add it after boiling the mixture.
- For dumplings, combine flour, baking powder, salt, pepper, thyme, milk, and melted butter in a bowl until just mixed.
