Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. softened butter
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1/2 white onion, finely diced
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp. yellow mustard
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
- pepper, to taste
- 1 pack dinner rolls, 12 count
- 16 slices American cheese
- 3 Tbsp. butter, melted
- pinch of salt and garlic powder
- 2 tsp. white sesame seeds
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 Tbsp. sweet pickle relish
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. distilled white vinegar
- salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Butter a baking sheet and sauté diced onions in olive oil until softened. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Stir in minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, and pepper; mix well.
- Slice dinner rolls in half; place bottom halves on the baking sheet.
- Layer cheese on the bottom rolls followed by the cooked beef mixture and top with more cheese. Place top halves of the rolls over everything.
- Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle sesame seeds.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
- Prepare burger sauce by whisking together mayonnaise, ketchup, relish, sugar, vinegar, salt, and pepper.
