Bunny Bait is a charming and colorful snack that perfectly captures the spirit of spring celebrations, especially Easter. This quick and easy recipe combines sweet and salty flavors through a delightful mixture of cereals, pretzels, and vibrant M&Ms.


Ingredients

  • 3½ cups Rice Chex cereal
  • 3½ cups honey nut Cheerios
  • 1½ cups pretzel sticks
  • ½ cup salted peanuts
  • 16 oz vanilla almond bark (chopped)
  • 10 oz bag Easter M&Ms
  • ½ cup butterscotch chips

Instructions

  1. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine Rice Chex cereal, honey nut Cheerios, pretzel sticks, and salted peanuts.
  3. Melt the vanilla almond bark in a microwave-safe dish in increments of 15 seconds, stirring after each until smooth.
  4. Pour the melted almond bark over the dry mixture and toss until coated.
  5. Gently fold in Easter M&Ms and butterscotch chips.
  6. Transfer the mixture to the prepared sheet pan and spread evenly.
  7. Let set at room temperature for about 45 minutes before breaking into pieces.
