- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice

- 2 tablespoons butter (divided)

Instructions
- Remove the salmon from the fridge and let it sit for 15-20 minutes. Cut into four equal pieces and pat dry. Season each piece with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, whisk together brown sugar, soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic powder, grated ginger, Worcestershire sauce, chicken broth (or water), and cornstarch until smooth.
- Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Place salmon skin-side down in the skillet; cook for about 5 minutes until golden brown. Flip each piece and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Add remaining butter to the skillet and pour the prepared glaze around the salmon. Let it bubble for 20–30 seconds before removing from heat.
- Serve immediately, spooning extra sauce over the salmon.
