- 12 slider buns (Hawaiian rolls or similar)
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 9 slices American cheese
- 24–30 dill pickle slices
- 2 cups shredded lettuce
- 2/3 cup mayonnaise
- 2 1/2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons yellow mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup finely chopped white onion
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick spray.
- In a small bowl, mix together the sauce ingredients until well combined.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onions until browned; season with salt and pepper.
- Layer the bottom halves of slider buns in the baking dish and spread sauce on each bun.
- Top with the beef mixture, cheese slices, and pickles.
- Cover with foil and bake for about 10 minutes until cheese melts. Optionally add lettuce and more sauce before placing on top buns.
