  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • ½ lb. egg noodles
  • 2 ½ cups beef broth
  • 10.5 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon mustard powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt/Pepper to taste
  • 1 small onion (diced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour

Instructions

  1. Prepare sauce mixture in a measuring cup and set aside.
  2. Brown the ground beef with diced onions in a deep skillet over medium-high heat for 7-10 minutes; drain excess grease.
  3. Boil salted water for noodles; cook until al dente.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic; stir in flour until browned.
  5. Gradually add sauce mixture; bring to boil then simmer with cream of mushroom soup for about 10 minutes.
  6. Stir in cheese until melted; add browned beef back into the skillet.
  7. Combine cooked noodles with the beef mixture and serve hot.
