Ingredients
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/3 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 pound sirloin steak (sliced)
- 3 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 2 (3 ounce) packages ramen noodles
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce and cornstarch; add beef broth, honey, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Set aside.
- Boil water in a medium pot; cook ramen noodles for 2–3 minutes until tender. Drain and toss with sesame oil.
- Heat olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat; season steak with salt and pepper. Sear for about 5 minutes until browned; remove from skillet.
- Add broccoli to the skillet with water; cover and steam for 2 minutes until bright green.
- Return steak to the skillet along with ramen noodles; pour in the sauce and mix well. Cook for an additional minute until evenly coated.
- Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds.
