  • 1 rack baby back pork ribs (about 2 pounds)
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/3 cup bourbon (optional)
  • 1 cup diced fresh peaches
  • 1/2 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoon dark brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 3/4 tablespoon onion powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder (or 1 minced garlic clove)
  • 3/4 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (149°C) and prepare a baking pan with aluminum foil.
  2. Combine rub ingredients in a bowl and apply generously to both sides of the ribs.
  3. Wrap the ribs in foil and bake for about 2 hours until tender.
  4. While baking, prepare the sauce by simmering bourbon (if using), ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, spices, and peaches until thickened.
  5. Preheat grill or broiler; glaze ribs with sauce and grill for about 4-6 minutes per side until caramelized.
