- 4 beef short ribs
- 6 garlic cloves (minced)

- 2 28-ounce cans whole peeled tomatoes
- 1 pound Italian sausage (cooked and drained)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F. In a roasting pan, combine red wine, olive oil, beef short ribs, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Roast for about 1 hour and 30 minutes until the short ribs are browned and tender.
- Transfer the mixture to a stockpot over medium-low heat and add the remaining red wine. Simmer for about 30 minutes.
- Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, tomato sauce, beef broth, dried basil, dried oregano, and parsley. Simmer uncovered for 4 to 6 hours.
- Remove the beef short ribs and stir in cooked Italian sausage. Continue simmering for an additional hour.
