  • Red gel food coloring
  • Blue gel food coloring
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  3. Divide the dough into three portions: leave one plain, color one with red gel food coloring, and the other with blue gel food coloring.
  4. Cover each portion with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour.
  5. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  6. Roll small amounts of each colored dough together to create marbled balls, then coat in powdered sugar.
  7. Place on prepared baking sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are set.
